A car rental built
by people who hate
car rentals.
Senda Rent is a family-owned car rental at 2270 NW 36th St, Miami, FL 33142 — a single mile east of Miami International Airport. We are not a franchise, not a counter inside a chain, and not an aggregator. We own our cars, employ our staff, and answer the phones ourselves.
One mile from MIA. Five years of straight talk.
We started Senda because traveling to Miami should not feel like a contest with a rental counter. Most of our team are bilingual Miami residents — many of us first-generation immigrants — and we have spent enough time on the customer side of those counters to know exactly which policies cause arguments.
Our entire model is built on removing them: foreign licenses are welcome, the insurance is included, the miles are unlimited, the payment is flexible, and the rate quoted is the rate charged.
When you rent from a national chain, the person at the counter does not have the authority to fix anything. When you rent from an aggregator, no one does. Senda is the opposite. The owners are on-site. The fleet is local. If something goes wrong on a Sunday at 11pm in Key Largo, the WhatsApp number on your contract goes to a person who can dispatch help.
Four operating principles. Non-negotiable.
The price you see is the price you pay
Tax included. Fees included. No add-ons unless you actively add them. If we ever quote you one number and charge another, that rental is on us.
Cars stay young
Most of our fleet is under 3 years old. We sell them off before things go wrong, not after. New cars break less, get better fuel economy, and are nicer to drive.
People answer the phones
Our roadside team is in-house, not third-party. The same goes for support. When you call us, a person picks up — usually within 30 seconds.
The counter is the enemy
Every minute at the counter is a minute we've stolen from your trip. We verify your license the night before. We hand you keys. You drive. Average handoff: 4 minutes.
A real human will pick up.
For reservations, support, or just to tell us what we're getting wrong. English and Spanish on every shift; Portuguese available by request.
What to message us
The fastest way to a written quote is a single message that includes:
- Pickup date and time.
- Drop-off date and time.
- Pickup point (MIA, our office, hotel, port).
- Vehicle category preference.
- Driver's age, country of license.
- Specifics (baby seat, two drivers, late return, etc.).
